Paris In Jail
Good day all, Henry here. Well, Paris The Heiress is in jail and some of her fans are upset. I gather from the news reports that they are not the only ones. She too appears to be upset, resentful and several other of the more popular negative emotions. She seems to believe that this is something that should never happened to her. She seems to think that she is above such concerns and consequences
I haven’t followed it closely, but apparently she has several times been arrested for drunk driving. The judge has sent her to jail for 40 some days, which really turns into twenty-some. I don’t know what the maximum sentence the judge could have given, but she clearly got off lightly. But also apparently she and her fans do not think so.
I don’t want to sound too old here, but the problem of course is that she has not grown up. She is 26 going on 13. Therapists run into young people like this more often then you might think. Sometimes, even if their parents do not have too much of the worlds goods, they gave the child everything and they pay for it later. Their loved child gets into trouble, sometimes with alcohol, drugs, stealing, fights, smashing things up… you name it. Not a pleasure to live with certainly.
Here is another spoiled child who thinks that she is above the law, above the community’s rules, and above the typical punishment for deviant behavior. Perhaps jail will help her, but her having to attend a few autopsies of victim killed by drunken drivers might be more sobering. Just a thought.
