Some Thoughts On Christmas

Thoughts On Christmas
Henry here with some thoughts about Christmas. Everybody has an idea of the stages of life. The general notion is that we were children, youth, middle aged, older and old. My experience has been that as I move through these stages they become immensely personal. They do not disappear from memory either. I seem to remember my childhood clearer then ever. My sense is that I think of the stages of life as I picture people who have been important in my life.

The important thing to remember is that aging is personal. We experience the age and stage we are in as a mixture of our most important people and our own personal experience. Here is one person’s fantasy of the stages of our lives.

THE FOUR STAGES OF LIFE:

1) You believe in Santa Claus.
2) You don’t believe in Santa Claus.
3) You are Santa Claus.
4) You look like Santa Claus.

Notice the point.
